Milly Alcock (birthname: Amelia May “Milly” Alcock) is best known for her role as Rhaenyra Targaryen in the HBO Game of Thrones spinoff series, House of the Dragon (2022-2024), but her theatrical feature debut was in the lead role of director/co-writer Storm Ashwood’s psychological horror movie, The School (2018), with Will McDonald and Nicholas Hope, and which was released by Vertical Entertainment.

Alcock landed the plum role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El in DC Studios’ first Supergirl (2026) movie—though Alcock first appeared in an uncredited appearance as Supergirl in Superman (2025)—co-starring Eve Ridley, Matthias Schoenaerts, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, David Corenswet and Jason Momoa under Craig Gillespie’s direction, written by Ana Nogueira, produced by James Gunn and Peter Safran under the banner of DC Studios/The Safran Company/Troll Court Entertainment and released wide by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Alcock returned as Supergirl in director/writer/producer James Gunn’s Man of Tomorrow (2027), starring David Corenswet (as Superman), Nicholas Hoult, Rachel Brosnahan, Edi Gathegi, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Frank Grillo, Lars Eidinger and Aaron Pierce, produced (in part) by Peter Safran via DC Studios/The Safran Company/Troll Court Entertainment, and which was released wide by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Alcock topped the cast of her first U.S. production outside of the DC Universe in the black comedy, Thumb (date to be announced), co-starring Awkwafina, Kate McKinnon, Sofia Vergara, Stavros Halkias and Hannibal Buress under Daina Oniunas-Pusic’s direction, written by Cesar Vitale, and which was produced (in part) by Akiva Goldsman under the support of production companies Weed Road/Bluestone Entertainment.
